The Marine Creek Creative Writing Conference is hosted annually at Tarrant County College, Northwest. It is free and open to the public, and aims to connect and inspire writers of all skill levels, particularly beginning writers, to sharpen their skills and rekindle their creativity in a nurturing environment. Speakers from various writing disciplines and TCC faculty host workshops that provide both informative instruction and hands-on practice.

Topics in previous years have included: poetry, screenwriting, playwriting, genre writing (fiction, horror, fantasy), creative journaling, novel writing, publishing processes, video game writing, editing, podcasting, character development, creative nonfiction, and more.
